Application Support Engineer

Description

Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while identifying and recognizing the differing priority levels per request
Takes extreme ownership of their responsibilities and areas of influence
Get Things Done – Great work ethic and moves with a sense of urgency

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support for assigned business applications as well as that for internal users
  • Investigate issues and apply solutions
  • Study software documentation to understand applications business and technical alignment for providing maximum support
  • Participate in QA activities of the business applications
  • Maintain the Knowledge Database
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams

 

What we expect

  • Experience in System Administration or Technical Support (L1 or L2)
  • Working knowledge of any scripting language
  • Investigation and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong learning agility, curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher)

 

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Life Sciences
  • Proven ability to work with SQL (Working experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with cloud providers
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes
