Description

You will be responsible for designing and implementing web applications using Drupal
framework, creating custom modules and ensuring the optimum performance of the solutions

Job Objectives

● Design and implement web applications within the Drupal framework
● Build advanced Drupal custom modules and themes
● Troubleshoot errors in the Drupal platform

Key responsibilities

● Build advanced custom modules, themes and web applications using Drupal core APIs
and best practices
● Design and implement new features for web applications
● Manage the Drupal platform to get Drupal core updates
● Ensure optimal performance of the website/application for DB queries, backend code
and execution
● Perform advanced site-building using CTools, paragraphs, display suite, views, view
mode, panels modules
● Ensure quality of the deliverables, write unit test cases and best practices
● Identify and troubleshoot issues in the code
● Ensure resolution of tickets assigned based on SLA’s
● Perform code review
● Guide team members in enhancing technical knowledge by highlighting the industry
standards implementation for Drupal applications

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
● Overall experience of 8 to 10 years working on Drupal/PHP
● Experience of minimum 4 to 5 years working on Drupal 8 & above

●Experience working with PHP, MYSQL, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, REST APIs,
third-party data integrations between Drupal 8 & above and various APIs
● Advanced site-building experience using CTools, paragraphs, display suite, views, view
mode, panels modules
● Experience in creating custom service and plugins, theme functions, building advanced
custom modules and responsive websites, migrating from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9 & above
● Experience in working on config management, custom drush commands, composer,
custom, caching techniques
● Experience in Git versioning control
● Experience in developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP
environment
● Experience in managing a team of 2-3 junior developers

Skills and Abilities

● Knowledge of PHP, theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
● Knowledge on memcache and varnish caching layers, Laravel PHP Framework/React
● JS/docker is an added advantage
● Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
● Interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to learn, imbibe and adapt to new & multiple architectures
● Ability to perform required tasks with minimal supervision
